Characteristic

Territorial Branches are organizational units of Tax Offices. Some Territorial Branches are located directly in the seats of Tax Offices.
Territorial Branches are established based on the Regulation of the Ministry of Finance (Regulation No. 48/2012 Coll., on the Territorial Branches of Tax Offices).
Territorial Branches of Tax Offices perform activities in the scope of Tax Office. All proceedings of Territorial Branches are always considered as proceedings of respective Tax Office. Territorial Branch is managed by its Director (if the Territorial Branch is not managed by another Territorial Branch).

Superior authority to the Territorial Branch is respective Tax Office.
